George Sutherland

George leads initiatives to identify key sustainability issues and advance programs relating to BMO’s sustainability and climate performance. He works cross-functionally to advance strategy, employee engagement, and public reporting on topics of sustainability and climate. He holds a M.Sc. in climate science and has more than a decade of experience leading innovative programs in diverse sectors to understand the impacts of climate change on environmental, social, and economic systems across Canada.
